Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does Recruitment Cost? 

  • It is absolutely FREE! Depending on the event we may even pass out free snack and food!​

Do I have to attend every night? 

  • We would love to see you every night but we understand the scheduling of work, school, and family obligations. We do not have an attendance requirement for eligibility. 

Do I have to follow any dress code when attending recruitment? 

  • No, we believe in the come as you are method and we do not require a dress code for any of our events. 

How does COVID-19 effect recruitment? ​

  • We have been adhering to CDC guidelines and following the Universities approach with handling meetings. Last year's recruitment was 100% virtual. We plan on completing a hybrid of options for this Fall 2021. 

Can I join as a first semester freshman? 

  • Unfortunately due to  National Regulations we have a (1) semester requirement. We encourage first semester freshman and all interested applicants to come to meetings and stay in touch throughout the semester. The best kinds of bonds comes to those that wait! Allowing our bonds to grow in depth and more impactful for when you cross. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student.

  • Must have completed at least one semester at HBU. According to national bylaws, we are not able to accept first semester freshmen. However, we don't bite so please reach out to us throughout the semester with questions about recruitment, classes, or even wanting to learn more about HBU.

  • Have a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

  • Must fill out an application and fulfill any additional requirements as indicated.
